Tastes of Central and Eastern Europe – Blackpool

On the 9th Oct 2010 NCBI Pomocna Dlon had a stall at Tastes of Central and Eastern Europe in Blackpool. This was the first event like this in the North West and was attended by over 600 people. There were Slovenian, Slovak, Lithuanian, Czech, Latvian and Polish stands presenting different European food, art, music and films.
Iwona Siata from Pomocna Dlon presented an exhibition of her photography. She said: “It was very enjoyable day and I met a lot of other Polish photographers”. Monika Figol was pleased with the interest from the host community in the festival. “The Eastern European food proved a great success with all who tasted it”.
