Polish Christmas Event 2010

On the 7th of December, Pomocna Dlon organized an art event with the kids from the Polish Saturday School in Lancaster. The event was attended by over 30 children with teachers.

Helping Hand was represented by Monica Figol with a group of six volunteers. The children made their own Christmas decorations that were used for the Polish Christmas Party held on Dec. 11 at Holy Family Church in Morecambe.

Volunteers after the event identified time spent with children as “creative and fantastic”. Of all the work, volunteers chose the three children with the best work and were rewarded with small gifts.
