Radio Show
Gazeta Radio is a bi-lingual magazine program for radio, serving the Polish and wider communities in Morecambe and Lancaster. It is broadcast on Diversity 103.5FM (link: http://www.diversityfm.co.uk/) approximately once a month.
The first edition of Gazeta Radio, broadcast in January 2010, included the following items:
- The story of a Polish schoolchild growing up in North England and attending an English school.
- A report on the annual Polish Christmas Party in Morecambe.
- An interview with a Polish shop keeper.
- Information on services provided by NCBI for the Polish community.
- Polish music.
We are currently recording new material for the next program. The time of the next program will be posted here as soon as the schedule has been published by Diversity FM.
We need your help!
We need Polish and English volunteers to help create content for our next program. Volunteers have so far been involved with the following tasks:
- Translation.
- Interviews.
- Brain-storming ideas for future programs.
- Talking to Gazeta Radio about their organization, business or project.
