Take a lead in your community in Welcoming Diversity and Violence Prevention.
The National Coalition Building Institute offers a comprehensive programme of workshops supported by monthly team meetings and individual volunteer development sessions.
Level 1 Workshops
Welcoming Diversity
Violence Prevention
Level 2 Workshops
Single issue workshops including anti-racism, challenging homophobia, disability awareness.
Level 3 Leadership Training
3 and 5 day leadership trainings.
Co-Counselling
Co-counselling fundamentals training.
Supported by:
- Monthly team meetings developing skills and awareness of issues.
- Individual development sessions looking at your training and support needs and supporting your leadership in workshops and activism.
- Twice yearly team days.
- Twice yearly national retreats.
- Access to constituency retreats and training in the United States.
- Regular co-counselling.
Ongoing Training
Attendance of any 1 day workshops allows you to be part of the support team for further workshops.
After completing the leadership training you will be given support to lead workshops in your community or workplace.
Activism
Attendance of any 1 day worshop enables you to take part in community activism such as Holocaust Memorial Day events, listening tables, etc.
After the leadership training you will also be given support to develop a team around you to take a lead in activism.
